Laura Mandell is the Office Manager for The Fund for New Jersey. Previously, Ms. Mandell was a small business owner of a mail order company and was New Business Manager at Us and Rolling Stone magazines. She has taken a variety of leadership roles in her community of Warren Township. She was a two-term board member of the Watchung Hills Regional High School Board of Education.
Ms. Mandell is chair and founder of the Warren Township Green Team, which attained silver certification and won the Innovation and Creativity award from Sustainable Jersey. She also chairs the Warren Township Environmental Commission, where she led the effort to produce Low Impact Checklists for Planning and Construction, which won a 2013 Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions (ANJEC) environmental achievement award. Ms. Mandell was named the March 2015 Sustainable Jersey Hero of the month. Ms. Mandell is a Rutgers Environmental Steward, holds a Green Building Professionals Certificate in Fundamentals by the U.S. Green Building Council and is a graduate of LeadNJ. A native of New Jersey, she earned a BA in English from Ithaca College. She has worked for The Fund for New Jersey since 2012.
